Consultation has concluded
On June, 2, 2021, Town Council approved By-Law 043-21 that amended the Town's Zoning By-Law to allow up to two accessory dwelling units (ADU's) on certain properties in Innisfil. The complete report and proposed amendment is available through this link. (Note that the Staff recommended zoning amendment attached to the report was modified by Council to require a total of 4 off-street parking spaces when a property has a total of 3 dwelling units - the final signed By-Law 043-21 is linked above).
The Town's policies for ADU's were informed by the Town's background research and community consultation process, which included an online survey and Virtual Public Meeting that was held on March 17, 2021 (Notice). The complete Public Meeting report is available through this link.
