Do you use Innisfil’s arenas, community centres, recreation centres, or theatre? Given the large population growth expected for Innisfil, the Town is working to decide how to best distribute resources across these facilities to maximize community benefit.
Facilities Master Plan
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Facilities Master Plan. This plan helps shape the next 30 years of Innisfil’s Town-owned facilities, including:
Stroud Arena and Community Centre
Innisfil Recreational Complex
Morgan Russell Memorial Arena & Community Centre
Innisfil Operations Centre
Salt and Sand Dome
Churchill Community Centre
Knock Community Centre
Cookstown Theatre
Cookstown Community Centre
Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre
Town Hall
Council approved the Facilities Master Plan & Space Analysis on April 3, 2024, except for recommendations about 19 Queen Street. Staff will report back to Council with more detailed recommendations for 19 Queen Street at a future Council meeting.
Recommendations of the Facilities Master Plan will be used in future Capital Plans and Operating Budgets.
