Consultation has concluded
Calling all Innisfil residents and organizations! We need your help to understand what’s happening in our community related to food security.
What is food security?
Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. You can learn more about it on the Simcoe Food Council's website.
Survey
Thank you to those who took the survey. It closed on December 8, 2023. This data helps us understand what exists in our community (Innisfil and Simcoe County) that supports food security and how we can collaboratively support residents' food security needs.
Your answers will be used to guide the Town’s cooking and food programs in the Horodynsky Community Kitchen at the Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre and create a list of programs and services that can help our residents and your neighbours.
