Road surfaces and closures on 6th, 7th and IBR

This summer and fall have seen unprecedented road closures particularly east west routes. It is impossible to travel in a straight line between St. John's Road and the 10th line. Road surfaces are poor on all three roads. The only decent roads to Alcona are from the north and the south. If you are arriving from the west (400) you will be subjected to rough, narrow, detour strewn roads.

One hopes that in future, before initiating necessary repairs or maintenance, more thought is put into assuring that at least one decent route is available to into town.
