As part of the Building Safer Communities Project, the Town of Innisfil is collaborating with local partners to enhance the opportunities available to young people in our community. Through this initiative, we're introducing a range of recreational, wellness, and leadership activities geared specifically towards youth (including pre-teens, teens, and young adults). The new programs will focus on helping young people develop life and relationship skills, explore hobbies and interests, and feel part of their community.
The project will also see the establishment of an Innisfil Child, Youth, and Family Wellness Coalition. This group will be dedicated to supporting Innisfil families and promoting a healthy, active, and safe environment for everyone.
Tell us your thoughts
We’ve launched a survey to gather information on the needs and interests of Innisfil’s teens and pre-teens, as well as the needs of the adults who support them. The results will inform new programs and services that offer positive and constructive activities for young people, while also providing parents and caregivers with the support they need to help them thrive.
Please share your thoughts by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024. By participating in the survey, you'll be entered for a chance to win exciting prizes, like gift cards and exclusive merchandise.
