Innisfil is growing! By 2034, we estimate that our population will reach over 63,000 residents. In order to meet our current and future needs, the Town of Innisfil is preparing a 10-year Transit Master Plan. This plan will revisit our current public transit system, Innisfil Transit, and go beyond. It’s time to Talk Transit, Innisfil!

How to get involved

Attend an open house

Public open houses (in-person, drop-in):

  • April 15 at Innisfil's Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 547 (1017 Robinson Street) from 4:30 to 7 pm
  • April 17 at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library Lakeshore Branch (967 Innisfil Beach Road) from 4:30 to 7 pm

Virtual open house (registration is required):

  • April 22 a virtual open house hosted through Zoom from 12 to 1 pm

Open house attendees will be able to review proposed options for the future of Innisfil's public transit system, give feedback on how our public transit system should grow, connect with Planning staff and consultants, and learn more about the TMP. Light refreshments will be available at the in-person public open houses for participants (please help us estimate the number of participants by pre-registering).

Upcoming community engagement opportunities

We will release a survey asking for your feedback on the proposed public transit alternatives soon. Follow this project and register for Get Involved Innisfil to hear when it opens.
