The Town of Innisfil introduced Winter Weekends to help our community beat the winter blues! Winter Weekends is an event series aimed at creating a unique experience centred around ice and snow while encouraging community connection with free or low-cost activities.
We teamed up with community partners to encourage residents to explore Innisfil in all its wintertime splendour over the weekends from January 27 to February 25, 2023. Some special events included:
Innisfil Town Square Grand Opening Weekend
Pancake Breakfast with Innisfil Council
Snow tubing with Snow Valley and BeaverTails
The Cookstown Experience
Innisfil Community Events Corporation's Polar Bear Dip
Free skates at town arenas
Free drop-in YMCA programming

Now that the 2023 event series is over, we're asking community members to share their thoughts! We would love to hear from you about what you enjoyed most and what (if anything) else you would like to see in the future. This will help us make improvements to future Winter Weekends and prioritize what is most important to the community.
